Question-How do I know whether my gifts can be delivered at address of my choice?
Answer-We cover urban areas of around 200 cities of India. These cities include 1st Tier, 2nd Tier and 3rd Tier cities. Our team make sure that we only commit to those services that we can offer like delivery time slots, expected time, delivery charges and more.
Question-Are there any delivery charges?
Answer-Delivery charges varies from location to location. When you provide pin code of the delivery address, our website will show you the delivery charges for that particular location.
Question-Can I choose the delivery time?
Answer-All hand-deliveries are done between 8 am - 10 pm, unless you have opted for a Midnight or a Fixed time delivery by paying an additional delivery charge.
- All courier products are delivered between 9 am– 9 pm through our selected courier partners.
- Information about a courier product is updated on the product page.
Question-Do you take same day orders as well?
Answer-Yes, we do take same day orders till a fixed time on that particular day. It is always advisable to place same day order well on time to avoid any delivery problem.
Question-What are the Delivery Charges?
Answer-There are no extra charges for the free delivery slot.
- Delivery charges are applicable for same day Standard, Fixed time and Midnight hand delivery.
Question-I don’t want to disclose my personal information to the recipient. Is this possible?
Answer-We totally understand the surprise element. While placing the order, in the sender’s name section, you can enter as ‘Anonymous’ so that your name is not disclosed.
Question-What are the different Modes of Delivery?
Answer-We have different modes of delivery:
- Hand Delivery – Orders are Personally Delivered to your Doorsteps.
- Courier - Orders are dispatched by us & will be delivered through one of the Registered Courier Partners as per availability (Blue Dart, Ecom, India Post etc.)
Question-What do the different Order Statuses mean?
Answer-Order Status Definition:
- Payment Received: We have received the payment of your order and your order is ready to be executed.
- Payment Declined: The payment for your order has failed.
- Order confirmed: Your order is confirmed. It will be delivered as per the date and time slot chosen by you.
- Out for Delivery: Your order is out for delivery.
- Order Delivered: Your order has been delivered.
- Delivery Attempted: We tried to attempt to deliver your order but could not because the recipient was unable/recipient’s number was not reachable/premises was locked/address was incomplete/incorrect.
- Returned to Origin: Our courier partner tried to deliver your order thrice but could not because the recipient was unable/recipient’s number was not reachable/premises was locked/address was incomplete/incorrect. The product has now returned to origin.
Question-How do I pay for products on Giftlaya?
Answer-Giftlaya offers you multiple payment options ranging from Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking from all major banks. Whatever your online mode of payment, you can rest assured that Giftlaya’s trusted payment gateway partners use secure encryption technology to keep your transaction details confidential at all times. Giftlaya accepts payments made using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express. (Cards issued by only Indian banks are supported at present). For non-Indian customer we provide PayPal option as well.
Question-Do you provide Cash on Delivery (COD) option?
Answer-No, we do not provide COD option for a simple reason that the sender of the gift (who buys the gift & is responsible for the payment) is invariably different from the recipient of the gift.
Question-Can I apply the discount code after paying?
Answer-It is not possible to apply the discount code after paying. The discount coupon code or the gift certificate needs to be applied at the time of checkout in the ‘Order Summary' section. Once the payment is made, the discount code cannot be applied against the same order.
Question-What is a convenience fee when ordering online?
Answer-Convenience fee is nominal additional cost added to the final payable amount of a transaction depending on locations.
Order Modification and Cancellation FAQs
Question-Is it possible to modify my order or cancel it?
Answer-Your order may be processed by our store partner who would have already prepared it or via courier partner & it is in transit. Our customer support team will try their best to coordinate with the store or courier partner in case you wish to cancel or modify the order.

Question-What are the modes of refund available after cancellation?
Answer-In compliance with the RBI guidelines, the refund amount shall be credited to the original mode of payment used at the time of placing the order. The refund shall be credited in your account as per the standard banking timelines.

Cancellation and Refund FAQs
Question-Date of delivery has lapsed, when will I get my order or refund?
Answer-We are committed to deliver the order to your loved ones in the time slot chosen by you, there may be an instance that we failed to do so. In that case, please connect with our customer support team who will help you with your concern.

Question-When and how can I cancel my order?
Answer-You can cancel your order 24 hours before delivery time. After that, order cancellation requests will not be entertained. If you placed an order whose delivery time is within 24 hours of order placing time then order can't be cancelled, and no refund will be processed for the same. For cancelling your order, you need to send us an email on careinfo@Giftlaya.com with the order id from the same email address which you have placed that order.
Discounts & Voucher FAQs
Question-How do I redeem my gift certificate/E-Gift voucher/discount coupon/referral code?
Answer-You can follow the following simple steps to redeem your voucher:
• Login to Giftlaya account through website/App.
• Select the product and add to the cart.
• On delivery details page enter the Coupon code in "Have a discount coupon" option to avail the discount.
• Click on the submit button.
Question-What is the difference between a discount coupon & a gift certificate?
Answer-A discount coupon helps to redeem a certain percentage off on your order value, like 10% off or 15% off whereas a Gift Certificate helps you redeem a flat amount from the total order value, like Rs100 off on any purchase. These are redeemable for purchases made on ww.Giftlaya.com and can be used only once.
Question-What should I do if my discount/gift coupon is not working?
Answer-In any rare instance when the discount/gift coupon is not working, please contact our customer support team, go to My Orders >> Select the Order >> Select Chat with us or Call Us as per your convenience (working hours 11am-7pm; all 6 days except Sundays)
Question-Is there a limit on how many E-gift vouchers I can use in a single order?
Answer-Yes, you can use only 1 E-gift voucher in a single order.
My Account FAQs
Question-What is My Account?
Answer-Registering to the My Account service is free and allows you to recall your personal information when visiting us next time, making it faster to place future orders.
Once you have registered with us, you can sign in using your username and password. We'll provide you with an address book and a reminder section, to store your recipients' details, together with a log of orders previously placed.
Question-I forgot my password!
Answer-Don't worry! We've got you covered. Here's what you need to do.
Step 1: Click on the Profile Icon
Step 2: Enter your registered Email address.
Step 3: Click on "Forgot Password"
Step 4: Login using OTP (One Time Password), by clicking the OTP link tab.
A message would be sent along with the OTP to your registered mobile number and email id. Using the OTP, you shall be able to reset the password for your Gift account.
Question-Is it necessary to have an account to shop on Giftlaya?
Answer-You can shop on Giftlaya by providing just your email address. While it is not necessary to have an account to shop for and purchase items, it is recommended that you create one. By creating your own Giftlaya account, you can enjoy a personalized shopping experience, including recommendations, saved address and quicker checkout and secured personal information.
